concerning the Mexican flu, which turns out to be a relatively mild
common flu.

Dutch National Institute for Public Health (RIVM) announced Friday that
it has stopped recording new Mexican flu patients in the Netherlands.
Doctors and hospitals no longer have to report new cases to the health
authorities. From the available data it looks like the Mexican
flu is after all relatively mild. Only one to three percent of all
patients develop complications, mostly pneumonia. Two thirds of
all patients with complications so far belong to the traditional groups
at risk. These include people over 60, children under two, people with
diabetes, heart or lung diseases, pregnant women in their third
trimester, and people with diminished resistance, for instance as a
result of chemotherapy. These people already qualify for the regular
winter flu shot. In other words, the Dutch health authorities
are now treating the Mexican flu as a common winter flu. The common flu
typically kills 200 to 1,000 people every year in the Netherlands,
mostly people with an underlying condition. That is far below the
"worst-case scenario" of 80,000 deaths that the health and home affairs
ministries laid out this week for the Mexican flu. "In terms of
treatment, we are giving doctors the advice to treat the Mexican flu as
the common flu," says Martijn Sobels of the RIVM. "That means that only
patients at risk of developing complications require treatment. To
other people our advice is to just sit it out." People who catch
the Mexican flu can expect to be sick for two to seven days. It remains
to be seen whether the Mexican flu will have a serious effect on the
economy if a lot of people get sick at the same time. Sobels:
"This will depend on how the disease develops, whether it peaks or is
more spread out. According to our estimates we are looking at one in
three to one in ten people getting sick at the same time." The
World Health Organisation announced on Friday that a vaccine for the
Mexican flu will be available in September, sooner than expected. The
Netherlands has ordered 34 million vaccines from the pharmaceutical
companies GlaxoSmithKline and Novartis - enough to vaccinate everyone
twice. It is not clear yet if the new approach to the Mexican flu will have an effect on the vaccine order. Sobels:
"The health minister will decide in mid-August who will be given the
vaccine. But there too our advice is that doctors treat the Mexican flu
as a common flu." The RIVM is also asking doctors to give the
anti-viral drug Tamiflu, which is used to treat already infected
patients, only to people at risk of developing complications. According
to Jaap van Disel of the UMC hospital in Leiden the drug has too many
side-effects to be distributed to all patients with the Mexican flu.
Tamiflu given to 200 patients will avoid complications in just one
patient, whereas 20 to 30 others may experience serious side-effects
from the drug. In mid-August every inhabitant of the Netherlands
will receive a pamphlet in the mail with advice on what to do when the
Mexican flu breaks out. Meanwhile, the association of Dutch
hospitals said on Friday that everything is in place to deal with a flu
pandemic if it materialises. The Netherlands currently has 912
reported cases of the Mexican flu. Last week the first death from the
Mexican flu - a 17-year-old boy with an underlying condition - was
recorded. |

I can think of two reasons.
The first one, the obvious: the fact that drug consumption makes people stupid and alienated.
The
second: to serve as a launchpad for the consumption of other hard,
highly addictive, drugs, from the traffic of which the NWO elites
profit.
Marijuana is not the same thing as alcoholic drinks that
you can drink because you like the taste of it. It's something you
consume just for the effect it has on your brain. It's the same
principle behind the use of other illegal drugs. And if you start with
a light one and like it, why not move to stronger ones, and increase
the intensity of the pleasure experienced? You decide to make the move,
and you get hooked. And there you are, another mindless pawn in the NWO
conspiracy without ever knowing it. Stealing people's wealth and
transferring it to the NWO elites, creating an excuse for more police
presence on the streets (therefore advancing things in the direction of
a police state) and ending up as a slave in the privately held prison
system.
I know that consuming light drugs doesn't necessarily
make people move forward to hard ones. I know several people who never
made that move. But I also know people who did. And it does make it
much easier. And, again, the people I know that didn't move to the hard
ones, nevertheless, are not among the most intelligent and most
informed people I've met.
These are the reasons I can think of
for such a move of legalizing light drugs. I don't believe they'll ever
legalize the hard ones, because that would most likely mean loosing
their monopoly, which would lower prices, decreasing their profit and
drastically reducing the crime rate.

I
remember hearing years ago that the Wachowski Bros were influenced by
an old Jordan Maxwell seminar tape called 'Matrix of Power'. I searched
and the only thing i could find was this: Scroll down, http://www.jordanmaxwell.com/bio/10_video.htmlSo
it does appear that a video was made in 1992, called Matrix of Power. I
have Jordon Maxwell's book 'Matrix of Power', but it says it was
released on paperback in 2003.  Some
months ago, after someone talked a little about him to me, I decided to
look for videos from Jordan Maxwell available on the web. And in the
first (and only one I bothered checking for excerpts) one I found from
him he said that he was the source of inspiration for "The Matrix" and
"Stargate" movies, and had been contacted by people in Hollywood prior
to the movies' releases, after which he complained "they never gave me
a dime...". I will only say that this guy has a very fertile
imagination. And that ideas for science-fiction movies and general
entertainment are the only things I recommend watching his videos for. |

In
recent years there has been an upsurge in the number of books and
reports attempting to expose what is broadly termed "the conspiracy."
It is generally agreed that in spite of its many detractors, a hard
core of Americans believe that something has gone drastically wrong
with the country, and these writers on "the conspiracy" have tended to
focus the cause of the trouble more narrowly on a variety of
organizations at a "local" level, such as the Council on Foreign
Relations, the Trilateral Commission and the Bilderberger Group. This
exposure of these groups is all to the good, but these writers did not
go far enough. Without exception, they wrote only about the major
"conspiracy" organizations mentioned above, which we can safely
describe as being on a local level. This is one of the reasons
why the Committee of 300 has been so successful in concealing its
existence from the broad mass of the American people. Apparently, few
would believe that there must be some kind of a coordinating,
controlling body, that oversees and coordinates the activities of the
"local level" agencies. The studies I did at the British Museum in
London began, slowly at first, to lead me to a conclusion that there
had to be a major player somewhere; one with the reach and power to
direct the many secret societies that plague our world. This feeling
was strengthened by my studies of the French Revolution, the Anglo-Boer
War, the 1905 Russo-Japan war, the Bolshevik Revolution and especially
WWI, all of which drastically altered the course of history in Europe,
and indeed, the world. When I uncovered the fact that the French
Revolution was organized and run out of England by Jeremy Bentham and
William Petty, the Earl of Shelburne, it became clearer that there had
to be a "master-mind" controlling body that could organize and carry
out such shattering events. The more I studied the role played in the
French Revolution by the secret Quator Coronati Lodge in London, and
the Nine Sister Lodge in Paris, the more I realized that there had to
be a super controller of these events; the Nine Unknown Men, Petty and
Bentham could not have carried off the French Revolution on their own. The
thing that excited me was the common thread between the French and
Bolshevik Revolutions: a hatred of Christianity, the major religion of
the world. I studied what the Illuminati had to say on the subject, and
came across this statement by Adam Weishaupt, nominal founder of the
Order: "Behold our secret: If in order to destroy Christianity,
all religion, we have pretended to have the sole true religion,
remember that the end justifies the means, and the wise ought to take
all the means to do good which the wicked take to do evil. This can be
done in no other way but by secret associations, which will by degrees,
and in silence, possess themselves of the government of the States, and
make use of these means for this purpose which the wicked use for
attaining base ends. The express aim of this order was to abolish
Christianity, and overthrow all civil governments." (Adam Weishaupt,
May 1st 1776.) Once the conclusion was reached that Christianity
was the major target in both revolutions, and the Anglo-Boer War, the
first major grab of the natural resources of a nation and the first war
of genocide in modern times occurred. It did not take long for me to
realize that behind the Lodges, behind Bentham and Petty; behind Milner
and President Wilson; behind Lenin and Trotsky; behind Kerensky and
Helfont, - there must have stood an all-powerful organization, one that
had the ability and the resources to control every aspect of these
shattering events. Only the existence of such a highly organized
secret society with tentacles reaching into every level of governments
of the world backed and run by men of the highest education and
intelligence, with vast resources at their disposal, could have brought
the French Revolution, the Anglo-Boer War of naked aggression, and the
Bolshevik Revolutions to a successful conclusion. Men like Weishaupt,
Rathenau and Doctor Weitzman, would, from time to time make veiled and
even open statements about a mysterious “300,” but they were largely
ignored, because in the minds of the people, it would take a super
colossal secret organization to carry out what such men proposed, and,
of course, in the collective minds of the people, such organization was
beyond the realm of possibility, and therefore, did not, could not,
exist. Yet, we had plenty of warning, from a wide range of prominent
men from the American Founding Fathers led by George Washington, to
Disraeli, to Bismarck, and so on. No more pertinent warning could have
been delivered than the one given in 1962 by David Ben Gurion, Prime
Minister of Israel: "The image of the world in 1987 as traced in
my imagination: the Cold war will be a thing of the past. Internal
pressure of the constantly growing intelligentsia in Russia for more
freedom and the pressure of the masses for raising their living
standards may lead to a gradual democratization of the Soviet Union. “On
the other hand, increasing influence of the workers and the farmers,
and the rising political importance of men of science, may transform
the United States into a welfare state with a planned economy. Western
and Eastern Europe will become a federation of autonomous states,
having a Socialist and democratic regime. With the exception of the
USSR, as a federated Eurasian state, all other countries will become
united in a world alliance, at whose disposal will be an international
police force. All armies will be abolished, and there will be no more
wars. In Jerusalem, the United Nations will build a shrine to the
Prophets to serve the federated union on all continents, as prophesied
by Isaiah. Higher education will be the right of every person in the
world. A pill to prevent pregnancy will slow down the explosive natural
increase in China and India.” Most people believe in
happenstance, and we appear to be wedded to the notion that things just
happen, or that they evolve from a series of events, seemingly
unrelated. But a careful student of world events soon learns otherwise.
It becomes apparent that nothing happens by chance and that seemingly
unrelated events are connected, although the connecting links are
always well hidden from public view. Perhaps the most important
confirmation of the existence of a super-controlling body came from
President Wilson. With his health rapidly failing, and with the
unwillingness of the Democrat hierarchy to allow him to run for a
further term, Wilson began to have second thoughts. The death of his
wife, Ellen, caused him intense grief. When Dr. Grayson who attended
her told Wilson his wife had just died, Wilson is reported to have
stood at a window in the White House and cried out, "Oh God, what am I
to do?" That might have had a bearing on Wilson's near-revelation of the existence of a super secret society: "Some

If that were so, then why was there a Marshall Plan and US backing in the Greek and Vietnamese Civil Wars?
The
Marshall Plan was about Western European economic integration, that
laid the foundations for a future political integration - the EU. The
money was given on the condition that the recovery was made on an
collaborative basis. (Carroll Quigley) The Vietnam War was a war for profit. (Daniel Estulin) Concerning
the Greek Civil War, given the fact that the source of money, and
consequently power, for the Venetian Black Nobility - of which the
Greek Royal Family is one of the most important members - is their
private ownership of the means of production (a huge amount of income
comes through ground rents), I suppose (like King Constantine's
involvement in the 1967 coup d'etat showed) that the House of Oldenburg
was not interested in having Communism in that particular country.

didn't want Communism in Western Europe, where their source of income
and power is. Only Eastern. (Like many people, I consider Greece to be

goals, they were not interested in the kind of (National) Socialism
practiced by Hitler. What they're interested in is in a One-World
(International) synthesis between Super-Capitalism and Communism, that
is also often called a "Socialist Dictatorship", but in which (unlike
in Nazi Germany and other Fascist regimes) there is no room for the

increase human intelligence (HUMINT) forward/operational presence and
to deploy new clandestine technical capabilities." The purpose of P2OG
would be in "‘stimulating reactions’ among terrorists and states
possessing weapons of mass destruction, meaning it would prod terrorist
cells into action, thus exposing them to ‘quick-response’ attacks by US
forces."[2] In other words, commit terror to incite terror, in order to
react to terror. The Los Angeles Times reported in 2002
that, "The Defense Department is building up an elite secret army with
resources stretching across the full spectrum of covert capabilities.
New organizations are being created. The missions of existing units are
being revised," and quoted then-Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld as
saying, "Prevention and preemption are ... the only defense against
terrorism."[3] Chris Floyd bluntly described P2OG in CounterPunch,
saying, "the United States government is planning to use "cover and
deception" and secret military operations to provoke murderous
terrorist attacks on innocent people. Let's say it again: Donald
Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, George W. Bush and the other members of the
unelected regime in Washington plan to deliberately foment the murder
of innocent people--your family, your friends, your lovers, you--in
order to further their geopolitical ambitions."[4] "The Troubles" with IraqOn February 5, 2007, the Telegraph
reported that, "Deep inside the heart of the "Green Zone" [in Iraq],
the heavily fortified administrative compound in Baghdad, lies one of
the most carefully guarded secrets of the war in Iraq. It is a cell
from a small and anonymous British Army unit that goes by the
deliberately meaningless name of the Joint Support Group (JSG)." The
members of the JSG "are trained to turn hardened terrorists into
coalition spies using methods developed on the mean streets of Ulster
during the Troubles, when the Army managed to infiltrate the IRA at
almost every level. Since war broke out in Iraq in 2003, they have been
responsible for running dozens of Iraqi double agents." They have been
"[w]orking alongside the Special Air Service [SAS] and the American
Delta Force as part of the Baghdad-based counter-terrorist unit known
as Task Force Black." It was reported that, "During the Troubles
[in Northern Ireland], the JSG operated under the cover name of the
Force Research Unit (FRU), which between the early 1980s and the late
1990s managed to penetrate the very heart of the IRA. By targeting and
then "turning" members of the paramilitary organisation with a variety
of "inducements" ranging from blackmail to bribes, the FRU operators
developed agents at virtually every command level within the IRA."
Further, "The unit was renamed following the Stevens Inquiry into
allegations of collusion between the security forces and protestant
paramilitary groups, and, until relatively recently continued to work
exclusively in Northern Ireland."[5] Considering that this group
had been renamed after revelations of collusion with terrorists,
perhaps it is important to take a look at what exactly this "collusion"
consisted of. The Stevens Inquiry’s report "contains devastating
confirmation that intelligence officers of the British police and the
military actively helped Protestant guerillas to identify and kill
Catholic activists in Northern Ireland during the 1980s." It was, "a
state policy sanctioned at the highest level." The Inquiry,
"highlighted collusion, the willful failure to keep records, the
absence of accountability, the withholding of intelligence, and the
extreme of agents being involved in murder," and acknowledged "that
innocent people had died because of the collusion." These particular
"charges relate to activities of a British Army intelligence outfit
known as the Force Research Unit (FRU) and former Royal Ulster
Constabulary (RUC) police officers."[6] In 2002, the Sunday Herald
reported on the allegations made by a former British intelligence
agent, Kevin Fulton, who stated that, "he was told by his military
handlers that his collusion with paramilitaries was sanctioned by
Margaret Thatcher herself." Fulton worked for the Force Research Unit
(FRU), and had infiltrated the IRA, always while on the pay roll of the
military. Fulton tells of how in 1992, he told his FRU and MI5
intelligence handlers that his IRA superior was planning to launch a
mortar attack on the police, yet his handlers did nothing and the
attack went forward, killing a policewoman. Fulton stated, "I broke the
law seven days a week and my handlers knew that. They knew that I was
making bombs and giving them to other members of the IRA and they did
nothing about it. If everything I touched turned to shit then I would
have been dead. The idea was that the only way to beat the enemy was to
penetrate the enemy and be the enemy."[7] In 1998, Northern Ireland experienced its "worst single terrorist atrocity," as described by the BBC, in which a car bomb went off, killing 29 people and injuring 300.[8] According to a Sunday Herald
piece in 2001, "Security forces didn't intercept the Real IRA's Omagh
bombing team because one of the terrorists was a British double-agent
whose cover would have been blown as an informer if the operation was
uncovered." Kevin Fulton had even "phoned a warning to his RUC handlers
48 hours before the Omagh bombing that the Real IRA was planning an
attack and gave details of one of the bombing team and his car
registration." Further, "The man thought to be the agent is a senior
member of the [IRA] organization."[9] In 2002, it was revealed
that, "one of the most feared men inside the Provisional IRA," John Joe
Magee, head of the IRA’s "internal security unit," commonly known as
the IRA’s "torturer- in-chief," was actually "one of the UK's most
elite soldiers," who "was trained as a member of Britain's special
forces." The Sunday Herald stated that, "Magee led the IRA's
internal security unit for more than a decade up to the mid-90s - most
of those he investigated were usually executed," and that, "Magee's
unit was tasked to hunt down, interrogate and execute suspected British
agents within the IRA."[10] In 2006, the Guardian
reported that, "two British agents were central to the bombings of
three army border installations in 1990." The claims included tactics
known as the ‘human bomb’, which "involved forcing civilians to drive
vehicles laden with explosives into army checkpoints." This tactic "was
the brainchild of British intelligence."[11] In 2006, it was
also revealed that, "A former British Army mole in the IRA has claimed
that MI5 arranged a weapons-buying trip to America in which he obtained
detonators, later used by terrorists to murder soldiers and police
officers," and "British intelligence co-operated with the FBI to ensure
his trip to New York in the 1990s went ahead without incident so that
his cover would not be blown." Further, "the technology he obtained has
been used in Northern Ireland and copied by terrorists in Iraq in
roadside bombs that have killed British troops."[12] Considering
all these revelations of British collusion with IRA terrorists and
complicity in terrorist acts in Northern Ireland through the FRU, what
evidence is there that these same tactics are not being deployed in
Iraq under the renamed Joint Support Group (JSG)? The recruits to the
JSG in Iraq are trained extensively and those "who eventually pass the
course can expect to be posted to Baghdad, Basra and Afghanistan."[13] P2OG in ActionIn
September of 2003, months after the initial invasion of Iraq in March
2003, Iraq’s most sacred Shiite mosque was blown up, killing between 80
and 120 people, including a popular Shiite cleric, and the event was
blamed by Iraqis on the American forces.[14] On April 20, 2004, American journalist in Iraq, Dahr Jamail, reported in the New Standard
that, "The word on the street in Baghdad is that the cessation of
suicide car bombings is proof that the CIA was behind them." Jamail
interviewed a doctor who stated that, "The U.S. induces aggression. If
you don't attack me, I will never attack you. The U.S. is stimulating
the aggression of the Iraqi people!" This description goes very much in
line with the aims outlined in the Pentagon’s P2OG document about
"inciting terror," or "preempting terror attacks."[15] Weeks
after the initial incident involving the British SAS soldiers in Basra,
in October of 2005, it was reported that Americans were "captured in
the act of setting off a car bomb in Baghdad," as, "A number of Iraqis
apprehended two Americans disguised in Arab dress as they tried to blow
up a booby-trapped car in the middle of a residential area in western
Baghdad on Tuesday. … Residents of western Baghdad's al-Ghazaliyah
district [said] the people had apprehended the Americans as they left
their Caprice car near a residential neighborhood in al-Ghazaliyah on
Tuesday afternoon. Local people found they looked suspicious so they
detained the men before they could get away. That was when they
discovered that they were Americans and called the … police." However,
"the Iraq police arrived at approximately the same time as allied
military forces - and the two men were removed from Iraq custody and
whisked away before any questioning could take place."[16] It
was reported that in May of 2005, an Iraqi man was arrested after
witnessing a car bombing that took place in front of his home, as it
was said he shot an Iraqi National Guardsman. However, "People from the
area claim that the man was taken away not because he shot anyone, but
because he knew too much about the bomb. Rumor has it that he saw an
American patrol passing through the area and pausing at the bomb site
minutes before the explosion. Soon after they drove away, the bomb went
off and chaos ensued. He ran out of his house screaming to the
neighbors and bystanders that the Americans had either planted the bomb
or seen the bomb and done nothing about it. He was promptly taken away." Further,
another story was reported in the same month that took place in Baghdad
when an Iraqi driver had his license and car confiscated at a
checkpoint, after which he was instructed "to report to an American
military camp near Baghdad airport for interrogation and in order to
retrieve his license." After being questioned for a short while, he was
told to drive his car to an Iraqi police station, where his license had
been forwarded, and that he should go quickly. "The driver did leave in
a hurry, but was soon alarmed with a feeling that his car was driving
as if carrying a heavy load, and he also became suspicious of a low
flying helicopter that kept hovering overhead, as if trailing him. He
stopped the car and inspected it carefully. He found nearly 100
kilograms of explosives hidden in the back seat and along the two back
doors. The only feasible explanation for this incident is that the car
was indeed booby trapped by the Americans and intended for the
al-Khadimiya Shiite district of Baghdad. The helicopter was monitoring
his movement and witnessing the anticipated ‘hideous attack by foreign
elements."[17] On October 4, 2005, it was reported by the Sydney Morning Herald
that, "The FBI's counterterrorism unit has launched a broad
investigation of US-based theft rings after discovering some vehicles
used in deadly car bombings in Iraq, including attacks that killed US
troops and Iraqi civilians, were probably stolen in the United States,
according to senior US Government officials." Further, "The inquiry
began after coalition troops raided a Falluja bomb factory last
November and found a Texas-registered four-wheel-drive being prepared
for a bombing mission. Investigators said there were several other
cases where vehicles evidently stolen in the US wound up in Syria or
other Middle Eastern countries and ultimately in the hands of Iraqi
insurgent groups, including al-Qaeda in Iraq."[18] In 2006, the
Al-Askariya mosque in the city of Samarra was bombed and destroyed. It
was built in 944, was over 1,000 years old, and was one of the most
important Shi’ite mosques in the world. The great golden dome that
covered it, which was built in 1904, was destroyed in the 2006 bombing,
which was set off by men dressed as Iraqi Special Forces.[19] Former
27-year CIA analyst who gave several presidents their daily CIA
briefings, Ray McGovern, stated that he "does not rule out Western
involvement in this week's Askariya mosque bombing." He was quoted as
saying, "The main question is Qui Bono? Who benefits from this kind of
thing? You don't have to be very conspiratorial or even paranoid to
suggest that there are a whole bunch of likely suspects out there and
not only the Sunnis. You know, the British officers were arrested,
dressed up in Arab garb, riding around in a car, so this stuff goes
on."[20] Death Squads for "Freedom"In January of 2005, Newsweek
reported on a Pentagon program termed the "Salvador Option" being
discussed to be deployed in Iraq. This strategy "dates back to a
still-secret strategy in the Reagan administration’s battle against the
leftist guerrilla insurgency in El Salvador in the early 1980s. Then,
faced with a losing war against Salvadoran rebels, the U.S. government
funded or supported "nationalist" forces that allegedly included
so-called death squads directed to hunt down and kill rebel leaders and
sympathizers." Updating the strategy to Iraq, "one Pentagon proposal
would send Special Forces teams to advise, support and possibly train
Iraqi squads, most likely hand-picked Kurdish Peshmerga fighters and
Shiite militiamen, to target Sunni insurgents and their sympathizers,
even across the border into Syria, according to military insiders
familiar with the discussions."[21] The Times reported
that, "the Pentagon is considering forming hit squads of Kurdish and
Shia fighters to target leaders of the Iraqi insurgency in a strategic
shift borrowed from the American struggle against left-wing guerrillas
in Central America 20 years ago. Under the so-called ‘El Salvador
option’, Iraqi and American forces would be sent to kill or kidnap
insurgency leaders." It further stated, "Hit squads would be
controversial and would probably be kept secret," as "The experience of
the so-called "death squads" in Central America remains raw for many
even now and helped to sully the image of the United States in the
region." Further, "John Negroponte, the US Ambassador in Baghdad, had a
front-row seat at the time as Ambassador to Honduras from 1981-85."[22] By
June of 2005, mass executions were taking place in Iraq in the six
months since January, and, "What is particularly striking is that many
of those killings have taken place since the Police Commandos became
operationally active and often correspond with areas where they have
been deployed."[23] In May of 2007, an Iraqi who formerly
collaborated with US forces in Iraq for two and a half years stated
that, "I was a soldier in the Iraqi army in the war of 1991 and during
the withdrawal from Kuwait I decided to seek asylum in Saudi Arabia
along with dozens of others like me. That was how began the process
whereby I was recruited into the American forces, for there were US
military committees that chose a number of Iraqis who were willing to
volunteer to join them and be transported to America. I was one of
those." He spoke out about how after the 2003 invasion, he was returned
to Iraq to "carry out specific tasks assigned him by the US agencies."
Among those tasks, he was put "in charge of a group of a unit that
carried out assassinations in the streets of Baghdad." He was
quoted as saying, "Our task was to carry out assassinations of
individuals. The US occupation army would supply us with their names,
pictures, and maps of their daily movements to and from their place of
residence and we were supposed to kill the Shi'i, for example, in the
al-A'zamiyah, and kill the Sunni in the of 'Madinat as-Sadr’, and so
on." Further, "Anyone in the unit who made a mistake was killed. Three
members of my team were killed by US occupation forces after they
failed to assassinate Sunni political figures in Baghdad." He revealed
that this "dirty jobs" unit of Iraqis, Americans and other foreigners,
"doesn’t only carry out assassinations, but some of them specialize in
planting bombs and car bombs in neighborhoods and markets." He
elaborated in saying that "operations of planting car bombs and blowing
up explosives in markets are carried out in various ways, the
best-known and most famous among the US troops is placing a bomb inside
cars as they are being searched at checkpoints. Another way is to put
bombs in the cars during interrogations. After the desired person is
summoned to one of the US bases, a bomb is place in his car and he is
asked to drive to a police station or a market for some purpose and
there his car blows up."[24] Divide and Conquer?Craig
Murray, former British Ambassador to Uzbekistan, wrote in October of
2006, that, "The evidence that the US directly contributed to the
creation of the current civil war in Iraq by its own secretive security
strategy is compelling. Historically of course this is nothing new -
divide and rule is a strategy for colonial powers that has stood the
test of time. Indeed, it was used in the previous British occupation of
Iraq around 85 years ago. However, maybe in the current scenario the US
just over did it a bit, creating an unstoppable momentum that, while
stalling the insurgency, has actually led to new problems of control
and sustainability for Washington and London."[25] Andrew G. Marshall
contributed to breaking the Climate Change consensus in a celebrated
2006 article entitled Global Warming A Convenient Lie, in which he
challenged the findings underlying Al Gore's documentary.
According to Marshall, 'as soon as people start to state that “the
debate is over”, beware, because the fundamental basis of all sciences

A
deadly Israeli attack on a US ship -- an incident largely kept in the
dark by Washington -- receives new attention with survivors reliving
the painful memory. USS Liberty survivors gathered in Washington
on Monday to commemorate the 42nd anniversary of the incident and
expound on how they were sprayed with bullets by America's "closest
ally and beneficiary". On June 8, 1967, the unarmed spy ship USS
Liberty was on duty in international waters off the Sinai Peninsula
when it was bombarded by Israeli fighter jets and torpedo boats. The two-hour-long attacks killed at least 34 sailors, wounded 173 others and nearly sunk the ship. The
attack on the Liberty came at a time when Israel had engaged in a brief
but intense war with Egypt and its Arab allies, which coincided with
the US war on Vietnam. Although the ship was clearly marked as
an American vessel, Israelis declared the attack on Liberty as a simple
case of "friendly fire" and "mistaken identity". Despite
overwhelming evidence to the contrary, former US president Lyndon
Johnson accepted the Israeli claim and cancelled all investigations
into the incident. "It was a case of mistaken identity …I do not
care if every man drowned and the ship sank, we will not embarrass an
ally," Johnson had told his opponents who demanded an open
congressional hearing to address the Israeli claim. USS Liberty survivor Rick Almett, however, begged to differ. "There
was a conspiracy between our government and Israel. So that's the
reason why they didn't pursue it and why the investigations were
covered up because of the alliance of Israel and the United States,"
Almetti told Press TV. In a separate interview with Press TV,
Jim Smith -- another surviving member of the USS Liberty crew -- said
the incident was "an intentional act by Israel to sink the ship with
all hands and no survivors". While there are many conspiracy
theories as to why Israel attacked a ship of its top ally, Earnie Gallo
-- who heads the USS Liberty Veterans Associations -- told Press TV
that the attack was in fact designed to pave the way for an Israeli
military incursion into the Golan Heights. In 2003, an
independent committee comprised of retired high-ranking military
officers and a former US ambassador to the Middle East joined forces to
investigate the Liberty attack and the subsequent cover-up. Their
pleas for an investigation, however, have fallen on deaf ears in the
Congress as it continues to ignore the facts presented on the Liberty
attack. Former US military and political officials said they had
been ordered to put the lid on the controversy surrounding the USS
Liberty attack. "We were never to speak of it and we were to caution
everyone else involved that they could never speak of it again," said

The
top American military officer has warned Israel against orchestrating
'USS Liberty Part II' to provoke a US-led war against Iran. In
early July, Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike
Mullen visited Israel to discuss the Iranian nuclear program with his
Israeli counterpart, Lieutenant General Gabi Ashkenazi, and other
Israeli officials. During the talks, Adm. Mullen cautioned that
the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty in 1967 is the type of incident
that should be 'avoided in any future military actions' in the Middle
East, the Jerusalem Post reported. The USS Liberty, a $40m
state-of-the-art surveillance ship, was 'inadvertently' attacked by
Israeli fighter jets and torpedo boats in international waters north of
the northern Sinai Peninsula coast. The attack, which lasted at least 40 minutes, claimed the lives of 34 American soldiers and wounded at least 170 crewmembers. Although
there are many conspiracy theories as to why Israel committed such a
'mistake' against its closest ally, former US seamen who served on
Liberty claim authorities are guilty of a cover-up. American
Free Press quoted Adm. Mullen as saying that it is very 'important' at
this time that 'history not repeat itself', referring to increasing
speculation that Israel might stage another such scenario to push the
US into a war with Iran. Israel, the sole possessor of a nuclear
arsenal in the Middle East, accuses Iran, a signatory to the
Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), of pursuing a nuclear weapons program
and threatens to take military action against the country should Tehran
continue uranium enrichment. While Washington echelons are said
to agree with the views of Tel Aviv on Tehran, the release of a Dec. 3
National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) has rapidly weakened the prospects
of the US participating in an attack on Iran. This is while,
according to US and Israeli intelligence services, an Israeli strike
would only 'cripple' the Iranian nuclear drive and not destroy it. Israel
is reportedly lobbying the Bush administration to launch a joint attack
on Iran before President George W. Bush leaves office in January 2009. In
an Aug. 2 interview with the USS Liberty radio show, former army
intelligence officer and CIA analyst Ray McGovern claimed Israel is
planning a scenario similar to that of the 67 Liberty incident. "It
is obviously something bigger. The name of the game is to 'decapitate
the Iranian nuclear program' whether it is aimed at a weapon or not,"
said McGovern. The war threats and speculation come despite the

There's a small book that perfectly fits the description of a very good source for "definate
and concise info regarding the origins of the Club of Rome, and who

have it and, although it's on my waiting list, I've taken a peek
already and, like Dr. Coleman's other works, it's another 5 stars one. The
problem is that you are not permitted to transcribe it. But you'll be
at least very well informed about the subject and, I guess, you can
then tell the story of this organization by paraphrasing what you've
read. |
